Company A of the 110th Infantry, also known as the 10th Pennsylvania, answered the call of their country in World War I during 1917-1918. The unit included captains, first lieutenants, second lieutenants, sergeants, corporals, buglers, cooks, mechanics, and privates whose names are recorded, and it honors those who gave their lives for the cause, including lieutenants, sergeants, corporals, and privates who were killed. It closes with Woodrow Wilson's 1917 declaration that right is more precious than peace and that lives would be dedicated to that task.
