Dunbar Bridge was built in 1880 by J.J. Daniels over Big Walnut Creek. It is a two-span bridge with a Burr Arch truss. It is 174 feet long, 16 feet wide, with a clearance of 13.5 feet. It stands on cut stone abutments and a pier. Early bridges were covered to prevent damage from the weather. In this case, the bridge was named for adjacent landowners.
