The Richland Cemetery Presbyterian Church was founded in 1798 on this original site. Here worshiped the oldest congregation in Eastern Ohio, now called the First Presbyterian Church and located at Marietta and Woodrow in St Clairsville. Among the crumbling slabs lie pioneer fathers of this most holy faith.
