These grave stones rest near their family. Ann Spratt Barnet died July 8th 1801 at 83 years. George White Smartt was born August 16, 1764, and died May 16, 1809/1810; he was one of the representatives of the General Assembly from Mecklenburg County and Ann's son-in-law. TBS, Thomas Barnet Smartt, was born March 2, 1799, and died September 20, 1833; he was Ann's grandson. Their remains were removed from the Barnet-Smartt family graveyard on Nation's Ford Road and entombed in Sharon Memorial Park.
