Established in the 1700, Rancho de Las Golondrinas was a paraje, or stopping place, that provided a welcome respite to weary travelers along the Camino Real well into the 19th century. The site is now a living historical museum featuring a reconstructed Spanish fortified hacienda and other structures, and it is open to the public from April 1st to October 31st.
