The Bristol Historical Society Museum in Bristol, Connecticut preserves and interprets the city’s past while encouraging public interest in local history and its relevance to the community’s present and future. It occupies Bristol’s first high school, a brick Victorian building at the corner of Summer and Center Streets. Constructed in 1894 with a large addition in 1910, the building was designed in the Richardsonian Romanesque style.
