The M-60 Main Battle Tank weighed 52 tons, was powered by a 750 HP engine, and was armed with a 105 MM cannon and an M2HB .50 cal. machine gun. It was one of the most important tanks during the Cold War and served as the U.S. Army's primary Main Battle Tank for over 20 years. It saw service in Vietnam, was used by Israel during the 1973 war and several Israeli invasions of Lebanon, and was last used by U.S. Marines during the 1991 conflict in Iraq.
