Halls Mills Bridge is a wooden covered bridge over the Neversink River in the town of Neversink, Sullivan County, New York, on Hunter Road. One of only 22 covered bridges in New York State, it was built by David Benton and James Knight as a single-span Town lattice truss. Construction began in 1906 and was completed in 1912. The bridge was retired from vehicle use in 1963 and afterward remained open only to pedestrians, though it is now closed to pedestrian traffic as well. Damage to one of its dry-stacked stone abutments during Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee in August 2011 underscored the flood vulnerability of historic river crossings.
