Masonic Hall
History
4
Masonic lodges have used this building since 1872. The Royal Arch Masons first owned it after receiving a dispensation on June 12, 1873. Shortly afterward, St. John's Lodge #18 received a charter on Nov. 20, 1873. Around the turn of the century, both lodges moved to the boom town of Delamar, where fire destroyed most of the building records and regalia. In about 1905, the Royal Arch Masons gave the building in Pioche to St. John's Lodge, which has used it continuously ever since.
