Built by the Czech Heritage Preservation Society in 2005, this museum was created to display historical items of local interest and preserve artifacts of the ancestors who settled in the area and established the town of Tabor, known as "The Home of Czech Days." Funding came from the Mary Chilton Chapter - National Society Daughters of the American Revolution through the Mary Chilton DAR Foundation of Sioux Falls, S.D., as well as donations from members and others.
