The Mayor and Commissioners of the Town of Rising Sun, Maryland, donated this memorial to Mason-Dixon American Legion Post 194 in grateful appreciation for its service to the community and to all veterans who served the country in many wars and conflicts. The granite stone was donated by Maryland Materials, Inc., and the memorial is dated November 11, 1994.
