Addy Sea was the fourth of five houses built by John M. Addy of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, one of the "Six First Families." Considered his masterpiece, it was also one of the first homes to have indoor plumbing. In 1935 it was converted to a guest house and is now operated as a bed and breakfast.
