From 1941 to 1945, Hannastown honored its citizens who served the country in World Wars I and II and remembered those who died. It also honored and remembered Hannastown residents who served during the Korean and Vietnam conflicts, including Pietro Peconi, listed as killed in action, and Thomas W. Sima, listed as a prisoner of war.
