Millbrook Mountain is part of the Shawangunk Ridge in New York, northwest of Benton Corners, within a long chain known for rocky heights and protected landscapes. Its surrounding ridge takes its name from nearby Mill Brook, and Mount Meenahga lies to the west-southwest. The mountain sits within one of the Shawangunks' best-known hiking areas, with access from both the Mohonk Preserve and Minnewaska State Park Preserve. Its significance lies in its place within this prominent ridge system and the protected recreational landscape that surrounds it.
