Schools in Ilasco included New Marble Creek Grade School from 1904 to 1945, Ilasco Grade School from 1914 to 1962, Slovak Lutheran School from 1917 to 1942, Stillwell Addition Grade School from 1926 to 1935, and Ilasco High School from 1926 to 1959. The Romanian Hall, Ilasco Baptist Mission Church, and the Ukrainian Orthodox Church basement also served as public school sites in different years during the early 1900's.
