Spurgeon Milton Keeny's boyhood home is associated with a humanitarian who served worldwide from 1917 to 1976. In Asia, he directed UNICEF and aided family planning. He was chief of the UN's Italy relief and assisted Russian relief. He was a YMCA officer in Mesopotamia, Siberia, Estonia, and Poland, and later served on its U.S. Council.
