The first release of ExploreHere was really simple, a blob and audio, that’s it.
Since that release, we’ve been focusing our efforts on what we need to make the app work for us. Today, we released two new features: Story history and an enhanced audio player.
As we were traveling, we really noticed the lack of history in the app. We wanted to keep track of what we heard so we could share with each other and replay stories we enjoyed.
Another thorn in our side was the inability to control the audio. You could play and pause the story, but not much else. We’ve upgraded that to a full-blown audio player with duration, skipping around, and more convenient controls.
With these features in place, the app feels much more usable and convenient. The added control and visibility add a lot to the experience.
