We completed two cycles this month. First, we wanted to hit 50 weekly active users, so we used the Total Solar Eclipse as a focus for marketing efforts. Second, we wanted to make at least $1 so we added payments.
These cycles lead us to making; our first engage and expand playbook, creating an eclipse playlist, adding an initial story to all populated areas for an improved onboarding experience, adding a payment system, and adding a list of topics the user can select from.
We were consistent with our marketing playbook, but missed our 50 weekly active user goal. We were mentioned in a blog, RVTravel.com, which brought in the most signups we’ve ever had in a single day. We’re still learning how to do marketing, but, with the product changes, we were able to make $100 within the first day of launching payments.
Finally, we finished our 3 month ElevenLabs grant. Thanks to them, we were able to create 17k audio stories spread all around the US.
