Trigg Countians who made the supreme sacrifice are honored from World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam Conflict, with stars marking those killed in action or who died of wounds, alongside the tribute: At war they died and paid for peace, that we might live in freedom, and enjoy peace. It is our duty to preserve it.
