Main Street Bridge is listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior. Contributors to the Main Street Bridge and Central Park Lighting Project included Dr. Robert and Norma Breitbach, Dr. Robert and Mary Jane Jakoubek, Mike and Paula Molstead, First Citizens National Bank, First Security Bank and Trust, Salsbury Chemicals, Inc., Wubbens Electric, Inc., Floyd Co. Sesquicentennial, City Improvement Association, and Prairie Meadows Race Track and Casino.
