Old Union Crossing Covered Bridge is a privately owned bridge on Lookout Mountain near Mentone, Alabama, spanning the West Fork of the Little River and serving riders on local horse trails. According to its present owners, it likely dates to the Civil War, probably 1863 or 1864, when Union Army troops built it over Otter Creek near Lincoln for wartime access. Jack E. Jones bought and moved it to its current location in 1972. Rebuilt as a wood-and-metal, three-span structure with only its center section covered, it is classified as a non-authentic covered bridge. Damaged by Hurricane Ivan in 2004, it was later restored and reopened.
