The Putnam County POW and MIA Memorial honors prisoners of war and those missing in action with the message, “You Are Not Forgotten,” and invokes President Ronald Reagan’s words that if words cannot repay the debt owed these men, then actions must strive to keep faith with them and with the vision that led them to battle and to final sacrifice.
