Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens is a 21-acre subtropical garden in Port St. Lucie, Florida, developed by the nonprofit Friends of the Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens as both a display garden and community gathering place. Construction began on March 4, 2009, and it opened with a grand opening on March 6, 2010. Its themed plant collections include bamboo, bonsai, bromeliads, butterflies, orchids, palms, roses, native plants, tropical fruit, cactus, succulents, and a serenity garden. A two-acre lake, pavilion, and amphitheater support weddings, educational and social activities, plant sales, and seasonal light displays, making it a notable green space in the city.
