The Weatherly War Memorial is dedicated to the honor and sacrifice of the community’s men and women who served their country, declaring, “Let none forget they gave their all and faltered not when came the call.” It names those who served in World War I from 1917 to 1918, World War II from 1941 to 1945, the Vietnam War beginning August 5, 1964, and Korea from 1950 to 1954, and it records Capt. Samuel O'Donnel Jr. as missing in action in 1977. It also includes Desert Storm from December 20, 1990 to January 31, 1991.
