Sequim Bay State Park is a ninety-two-acre public recreation area on the shore of Sequim Bay along the Puget Sound side of Washington’s Olympic Peninsula. Located within the Sequim rain shadow, it offers sheltered waterfront and a relatively dry local climate compared with much of the surrounding region. With more than four thousand nine hundred feet of shoreline, the park centers on direct access to the bay for boating, swimming, clam digging, crabbing, beachcombing, and birdwatching. Its inland areas support picnicking, camping, hiking, athletic fields, interpretive activities, and simple family recreation such as horseshoes.
