Inf., 27 Mass. Inf., 37 Mass. Inf., 1 Mass. Cav., 37 N.Y.N.G., 49. Mass. Inf., 54. Mass. Inf., 57. Mass. Inf., 9 Conn. Inf., 20. Conn. Inf., and 1. Conn. Inf. The monument also bears the battle names Wilderness, Gettysburg, Donelsonville, Andersonville, Antietam, Chancellorsville, Spottsylvania, and Petersburg.
