Sherman's College Street ran east to west through campus until it was closed to traffic for safety reasons. In 1974, this main artery through campus was transformed into Windsor Mall as a landscaped pedestrian walkway spanning from Margaret Jonsson Plaza eastward to Trustee Court at Grand Avenue.
