Archie Teater Studio, or Teater’s Knoll, in Bliss, Idaho, was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1952 as both a home and workplace for painter Archie Boyd Teater and was completed in 1957 under the supervision of Taliesin apprentice Edmond Thomas “Tom” Casey. A Usonian-style house and studio, it is distinguished by the use of Oakley Stone inside and out, tying it closely to its local setting. Recognized as an important late Wright design in Idaho, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. Restoration and expansion later proceeded under Lynn Fawcett and Henry Whiting II, with Casey consulted during the work.
