Yocum Falls is a series of cascades on Camp Creek in Oregon’s Salmon–Huckleberry Wilderness near Government Camp, within Mount Hood National Forest. Set in Zigzag Canyon on the north side of Tom Dick and Harry Mountain, it is part of a landscape known for multiple waterfalls. The upper tier and lower drop are the most accessible, while the middle section is partly hidden by mature forest. The area’s volcanic terrain includes andesite and basaltic andesite from lava flows around the mountain. Forest here regrew after the Sherar Burn, and the falls, named for businessman Oliver C. Yocum, remain part of a protected hiking landscape near Mirror Lake and the Oregon Trail’s Barlow Road.
