Eagle Hill is a low mountain in Sabine Parish in western Louisiana, about two miles south of Peason. At 459 feet, it ranks among the state's highest points, standing out in Louisiana's generally flat terrain. About four miles west of Kisatchie National Forest, it is part of the foothill country that extends north toward the Ouachita Mountains in Arkansas. Its French name, Colline d'Aigle, points to the region's layered cultural history while underscoring the hill's modest yet distinctive place in Louisiana's landscape.
