Sprague Glacier
Nature
Sprague Glacier is a small cirque glacier in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado, on the east side of the Continental Divide about 0.25 miles southeast of Sprague Mountain. Several small alpine lakes lie near its foot. Like other cirque glaciers, it occupies a bowl-shaped hollow carved high in the mountains. Its location near the Divide makes it part of the park’s alpine landscape, where ice, rock, and nearby tarns shape the terrain.
