Jolls Homestead is associated with Dr. Willard B. Jolls, a beloved country doctor who gave of himself in caring for the people and the community. Its formal gardens and adjoining land were donated by Dr. Jolls for the municipal building. The house is an excellent example of Italianate architecture and was built in 1870 by merchant Ambrose Johnson.
