Norman Rockwell created illustrations including The Pharmacist from the March 18, 1939 cover of The Saturday Evening Post, Take Your Medicine from the May 30, 1936 cover of The Saturday Evening Post, Missing the Dance from the June 23, 1937 issue of The Saturday Evening Post, Sick Puppy from the March 10, 1923 issue of The Saturday Evening Post, and Spring Tonic from 1957, the spring selection of the Four Season - Tender Years. Rockwell was commissioned by Brown and Bigelow to paint a series of illustrations featuring four images each year that followed characters through a complete year. Jane Weis painted copies of the original Norman Rockwell works.
