The Wall
Nature
The Wall is a prominent mountain and cliff escarpment in Wyoming’s Teton Range that runs for more than 4 miles along the western edge of Grand Teton National Park. Its highest point, 11,113 feet, lies near the northern end on the boundary with the Jedediah Smith Wilderness in Caribou-Targhee National Forest. Located about 1 mile west-southwest of South Teton, the high point overlooks Snowdrift Lake. Rather than a single isolated summit, The Wall stands out for its long, continuous form along the edge of the range, giving it a distinctive presence in this part of the Tetons.
