Traverse Peak is an 11,056-foot mountain in the northern Teton Range of Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. Rising above Moran Canyon to the south and the south fork of Snowshoe Canyon to the north, it forms part of the rugged high country above Jackson Lake. Its south slopes are visible from Moran Bay behind Bivouac Peak, lifting above Moran Canyon. The first recorded ascent came in 1934, when Irene Ayres and her brother climbed the mountain and selected its name. It remains a prominent feature of the dramatic northern Teton landscape within the national park.
