Mansfield Hollow State Park in Mansfield, Connecticut, is a 251-acre public recreation area on the western shore of the 500-acre Mansfield Hollow Lake, within a broader 2,300-acre tract leased for recreation and wildlife management by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Its landscape preserves visible evidence of the last glacial period, including kames, eskers, and kettles left by retreating ice and meltwater. The park supports boating, fishing, picnicking, hiking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing, and the southeastern leg of the Nipmuck Trail connects it to a wider regional hiking route.
