Codfish Falls is a waterfall on Fishers Brook in Storrs, the village center of Mansfield, Connecticut. Instead of one vertical drop, it consists of a short series of plunges and cascades that spread into a fan before the brook flows on toward the nearby Fenton River. Reached by a trail from Codfish Falls Road, the site is especially notable for the steep-sided gorge the water has carved along this brief stretch. Averaging about twenty feet deep, the gorge creates a dramatic landscape feature that stands out sharply from the gentler surrounding terrain.
