The Kingston Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints stood at this site, where a 26 x 48 foot brick church was erected in 1896 at a cost of $1500. It was remodeled and rededicated in 1953, remained in use until 1977, and was demolished in 2005. The church and its bell reflected the dedication and devotion of Kingston's early settlers.
