The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, opened in 1976 in Arvada, Colorado, developed into a major regional arts hub that combines a museum, performing arts venues, galleries, classrooms, and community spaces on one campus. It includes the Arvada History Museum, three theaters, art galleries, rehearsal rooms, a conference center, and an amphitheater, while offering classes, summer theater programs, and a home for the Front Range Youth Symphony Orchestra. As demand grew, expansions approved in 1992 and again in 2002 enlarged and improved its public, exhibition, rehearsal, and support spaces, helping establish it as one of the Denver area’s larger cultural attractions.
