In the late 1940's, this pond was dug and quickly filled with water from bubbling underground springs. Approximately ten feet deep in the center, it supports a variety of fish including blue gill, largemouth bass, and pike, as well as a variety of birds, reptiles, and amphibians. The bubbling springs keep the water level at seasonal averages throughout the year.
