In Sapulpa, Oklahoma, the John Frank House was designed by architect Bruce Goff in 1955 and built in 1956 for John Frank, founder of Frankoma Pottery. Created to reflect the Frank family's strong connection to ceramics, the home integrates pottery into its design, with ceramic tiles used throughout the interior. John Frank and his wife, Grace Lee Frank, personally glazed and fired those tiles, tying the house directly to their artistic work as well as to Goff's vision. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it is recognized for both its architectural significance and its association with John Frank and Frankoma Pottery.
