Wehr Covered Bridge near Orefield in South Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania, is a wooden covered bridge built in 1841 that carries a road over Jordan Creek. A three-span Burr truss structure measuring 117 feet long, it is enclosed with horizontal siding and topped by a gable roof, reflecting practical nineteenth-century covered bridge design. Its historical significance was recognized in 1980 through listing on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Covered Bridges of the Delaware River Watershed Multiple Property Submission. Still in use, it was temporarily closed in July 2014 after an overweight truck crossed, leading officials to reduce its posted weight limit.
