Jordan Run Falls is a remote waterfall on Jordan Run in West Virginia, where the stream cuts through Jordan Run Gorge before joining the North Fork South Branch Potomac River. About 0.8 miles upstream from Jordan Run’s mouth, the falls drop roughly 25 to 30 feet on a small but steep stream. The site is difficult to reach, usually requiring a strenuous hike up the trail-less stream bed through the gorge. In whitewater boating, Jordan Run is known as a Class 5 stream, and the falls are regarded as one of West Virginia’s biggest runnable waterfalls, though hazards and private ownership make access conditional.
