Pumping Station Bridge
Transportation
Pumping Station Bridge was a covered bridge spanning Rickreall Creek near Ellendale, Oregon. It survived long enough to gain recognition as a historic structure and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. Its history ended abruptly when a flood caused it to collapse on November 24, 1986. After the bridge was destroyed, it was removed from the National Register in 1987. It remains part of Oregon’s covered-bridge history as a lost structure once valued for its historic significance.
