Kletting Peak is a 12,060-foot mountain in Utah’s High Uintas Wilderness within the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, rising in Summit County with 495 feet of clean prominence. Named in 1964 for Utah architect Richard K.A. Kletting, who lived from 1858 to 1943, it is recognized by its summit rather than a developed site. The mountain is regarded as a relatively easy overland scramble, with routes rated class 2 or easier. Among Utah mountains with more than 200 feet of prominence, it ranks 101st.
