Bald Mountain is an 11,949-foot summit in the western Uinta Range of northeastern Utah, within the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest on the border of Summit and Wasatch counties. Utah State Route 150 passes just east of it, making it one of the more accessible high peaks in this part of the range. Rising 1,823 feet above the surrounding terrain, it is known for its open alpine landscape, wildlife such as mountain goats and pika, wildflowers in the short high-season, and broad views across the Uintas. It is also a popular hiking destination, reached by the maintained Bald Mountain Trail from Bald Mountain Pass.
