Arizona Beach State Recreation Site is a sixty-eight-acre Oregon state park on the Pacific coast in Curry County, known for unusually mild temperatures created by headlands that shelter the shoreline from cool northwest winds. On a rugged coast where sandy ocean access is relatively uncommon, it offers easy beach access, day-use facilities, and opportunities to watch birds and marine mammals. Mussel Creek and Myrtle Creek flow through the park into the sea. Acquired by the state in 2008 for $3 million after long private ownership, it is now managed for beach access, picnicking, and wildlife viewing alongside an important coastal habitat for seabirds, seals, sea lions, elk, and other species.
