Schminck Memorial Museum was operated under a trust established by Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Schminck for Lakeview, Oregon pioneers, in recognition of the historical, educational, and patriotic endeavors of the Oregon State Society of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, with a plaque presented by Eulalona Chapter, OSSDAR, in 1970.
