Collinsville, part of the Town of Canton, is shown through early twentieth-century scenes of transportation and local life, including travel along Maple Avenue around 1915, activity at the corner of Maple Avenue and River Road around 1910, the CNE Station on Canton Springs Road with the cemetery in the background around 1900, patrons of Cherry Park off Lovely Street boarding there, a train coming into Canton Springs Depot around 1900, and an early Route 44 car parked in front of the present-day nursery around 1920 after the building was rebuilt following a 1916 fire. The site was also the location of the original Canton Springs Bottling Company, adjacent to the present-day Volunteer Fire Department parking lot on Canton Springs Road.
