Science & Tech
Swartz Covered Bridge is a historic wooden covered bridge northwest of Wyandot, Ohio, on County Road 130 in Antrim Township. Built in 1880, it uses the Howe truss, a widely used nineteenth-century design for timber road crossings. It is one of Wyandot County’s surviving covered bridges and gained national recognition for its historic importance when it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. The bridge remains a notable local historic structure in rural Ohio.
